Outstanding Tutor Award

To recognize its exceptional tutors, the Academic Success Center presents the “Outstanding Tutor Award” each semester. The award acknowledges a tutor’s excellent service to our students and their significant contributions to the University.

The best candidates exemplify ASC work ethics, including:

• friendly and positive attitude
• consistent and clear communication
• cooperative approach
• organizational skills
• patience
• respect
• and a clear desire to help students achieve their maximum potential.

Eligible candidates also show initiative in communicating with the professors of courses for which they provide tutoring.

We welcome Lincoln University students and faculty to nominate peer tutors for the Outstanding Tutor Award. If you have experience working with an ASC peer tutor, we hope to hear from you.
